Chief Operating Officer
Durham Kenigsvalds is the Chief Operating Officer for The Hopkins Group, serving on our Executive Board and as the Chair of our Leadership Group.
Since commencing with the company in October 2013, Durham has actively contributed to the development and execution of The Hopkins Group’s strategic objectives and has been integral in taking the lead on financial and operational initiatives. Day-to-day, Durham is responsible for the oversight of and reporting on matters related to financial, operational, contractual, human resource, IT infrastructure and office administration at The Hopkins Group.
Prior to joining The Hopkins Group, Durham was Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union – one of the first six staff members recruited by the organisation. Durham was integral to the establishment of the Melbourne Rebels and was responsible for the successful implementation of corporate governance matters, financial systems, policies and procedures and the in-house infrastructure.
Durham commenced his professional career with KPMG as a graduate and progressed to Senior Manager. During his nine years at KPMG, Durham delivered audit and accounting advisory services to clients from a diverse range of industries, from private to listed and domestic to global.
A graduate of the University of Melbourne, Durham is qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
